I thanked God for the caring you've shown me through the years, For the closeness we've enjoyed in time of laughter and of tears. Bryson finally gave in and bought me the coffee table I have been wanting for almost 3 years now!!! I am so excited, it matches my sofa table!!!!

Bryson had to work til ten at night on my birthday, but we did get to go to lunch at the PF before he left!

I love these next three pictures, we kept trying to get the perfect picture of me and Addie, I love the next one with her eyes closed and her huge cheesy smile!

I had a great birthday and still cannot believe I am 25!!! Holy Cow I am gettting up there!!! Thanks to everyone for all the cards, emails, texts and phone calls! It was a great day even though my husband was gone for most of it! He did take me out that weekend to make up for it, and we had a yummy Mexican dinner, so thanks Babe!!!!

My Blue Eyed Babe!!!! (7.5 Mths)

Dear Addie Cakes,

You are getting so big and learning so many new things each day! Some days I sit and look at you and wonder why I was so lucky to be chosen as your Mom. You are the happiest little girl I know, always smiling and showing those two teeth to anyone who will look at you! You have mastered sitting up and rolling and have begun to experiment with pulling yourself up and trying to crawl. You still haven't figured out how to get that belly off the ground, but we have been waiting and watching cause you don't give up. You love eating your baby food and are especially fond of veggies! Bananas are not your thing and every time we feed them to you, you clench your fist, purse your lips and turn bright red! It's pretty funny to watch!!!

Your new favorite game to play is tipping Mom's baskets over and pulling out everything inside. Once everything is out you do it all over again! You are drinking out of a sippy cup now and almost like it better then your bottle. You still prefer your swing rather then your crib for naps, but we are working on it!
You have become especially fond of your stuffed animals and your dolly. You love to sleep with them and somehow manage to snuggle all of them under your little arms at once. We love to listen to you jabber in the morning and wish you knew how many times you say Da Da without even knowing it. Your toy of choice is your cardboard books! You love to turn the pages and talk about everything you see!
We hope you know how much we love you! I hope I am being the Mommy you always wanted and I hope I can teach you everything you need to know in this big world!

Bryson's Birthday Celebration

Bryson's Birthday was on Conference Sunday this year so we got to spend all day together!! When we woke up we gave Bryson his presents, he got a power juicer which he had been wanting for quite some time now. He also got a bunch of cards and money from everyone, so I think he was pretty happy!!!

Later that day we had a bunch of friends from our ward come over to help us celebrate Bryson's big day! We had been trying to plan a dinner with everyone for awhile and it just so happened that Bryson's birthday worked as the date!!! We made Cafe Rio Salads and Burritos and everyone brought stuff to contribute! I must say dinner was delicious and I think it was a hit with the boys cause they each had like 3-4 Burritos!!! We feel so lucky to have such great friends who all live so close, thanks for celebrating with us guys!!!

Bryson isn't a huge cake fan, so I decided to try a Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake from Cold Stone. It was so Yummy, even Bryson loved it!!!

I got to go see "Wicked" while it was up here in Salt Lake just a week or so ago. I had never seen it before and didn't really know what the story was about, but I had heard great things about it. Stef and Cindy have seen the play quite a few times so they filled us all in before we got there. It was seriously such an amazing play!!!! I had forgotten how much I love to see plays and this one gave me chills!!! The singing, dancing and costumes were so much fun!!! I felt bad though cause poor Bryson wanted to come so bad, but had to go to work that day :( poor kid!!! We also missed Nick and Abby cause they will be proud parents of another little boy in just a few days!!! I also wanted to say Thank You to Bryson's sweet Dad!!! He got the lucky job of watching Addison while we were at the play and did such a great job! We left her with him around noon and meet them for dinner around six so he pretty much entertained her all day and I am pretty sure she loved it!!! ( I think it was refreshing for her to have someone else watch her besides just seeing me all day every day! ) So thanks again Grandpa Westbrook and thanks to Bryson's parents for the great tickets to the play!!! It is definitley a must see!!!!!

Easter Sunday

We decided not to go anywhere for Easter this year, so we had a fun lazy Sunday at home! It was really cute to see Addie so excited about what the Easter Bunny brought her! She had so much fun playing with her new Dolly and Blocks that she got!!! She also got a cute Easter dress from Grandma Westbrook which I must say she looks pretty darn cute in!!! At church our ward put on a nice Easter program and it was so funny cause every time the choir would start singing, so would Addie!!! We were laughing so hard, she is at such a fun age and is for sure a little Chatter Box!! Since we didn't get to see any family this Easter I had to take a bunch of pictures (of course) for everyone to see!

Hogle Zoo and Dinosaur Museum Fun

While my parents came up to visit us it was such nice weather that we decided to go to Hogle Zoo! I hadn't been since I was like 12 or 13 yrs. old and Bryson doesn't remember if he had ever been or not! It was so fun watching Addie look at all the animals, she was fascinated by the monkeys and just loved being outside!!! We also had to get a picture of her at the Lion drinking fountain, cause my Dad always took pictures of us as kids there too! The next day we went to Thanksgiving Point and hit up the Dinosaur Museum. It was actually a pretty cool Museum and the Dinosaur replicas were awesome!! We had so much fun with my Mom and Dad and it was really nice to get to spend the weekend with them. Addie loved getting out and seeing all the fun places!!! Thanks for taking us all over Mom and Dad, We Love You!!!!
