I forgot to post about this, but last time my parents were up we headed over to the Bird Refuge, that isn't to far from our house, for a nice little stroll around it on the boarwalk. It is actually a pretty cool place and would be a awesome site to take professional pictures at one day. The view from the top of the arboretum was beautiful and Addie had a ball waving/running around with her reed and trying to swat us with it! She was laughing hysterically it was pretty darn cute!!
Addie had so much fun Trick or Treating this year! She ran wild up and down the streets in our neighborhood talking to all the kids and trying to pick up every pumpkin that we came across! She got the hang of knocking on the door after a couple houses and would go up and pound on them with both hands until someone opened it. She also figured out that she got to pick a piece of candy from a bowl everytime the door was opened, and she had no problem picking one, two or even three pieces she liked!!! Needless to say she was a little greedy, even though she did say Thank You at most doors!! hahaha When she got tuckered out we went back home and helped Daddy pass out candy to the swarms of kids at our door. Addie loved seeing all the kids and needless to say next year we will know to stock up on the candy (we bought 7 bags and ran out in an hour), we ended up giving away most of Addie's candy, but she did keep some Kit Kats and Tootsie rolls for herself, they seem to be her favorites!
Posing with her Halloween Bag from Grandma Westbrook
Already eating a Tootsie Roll before we even got started
Mom and Dad with the cutest cheerleader on the block!
Trick or Treating at the first house
Trying to eat some of her loot with the wrapper still on
I took Addie down to the pumpkin patch to get some pictures of her in her Halloween costume, and it was hilarious! She was running all over the place and totally cheesin it when I would ask her to smile! We got some cute shots and she also picked out a little pumpkin just her size! We have also been practicing how to say "Trick or Treat" with her and she is actually really quite good at it!
We have had a ball going to pumpkin patches out by our house this year! We kinda live out in farm land, so we have tons of farms around us that sell fresh veggies and of course the best lookin pumpkins around! Addie loves this place, we have gone with both sets of grandparents and of course a few times on our own to get some awesome pumpkins!!
10.16.09 We took Addie to Hogle Zoo for her third time and this was definitely the funnest trip. She loves animals and had so much fun "barking" (she thinks everything is a dog) at all of them. It was fun to let her run around the zoo like such a big girl. The only sad part was the carousel was closed so she didn't get to ride it :( . My parents were up here and came with us, so it made for a really fun day!!
Waiting for lunch (She ran around and chased the birds all during lunch it was so funny, and almost grabbed a peacocks tail, but luckily I got there in time!)
The Infamous Lion Fountain (She loved it)
Watching the Monkeys
Watching the Penguins
Look how tall my little cutie is!! She is no longer an Infant!!
Riding the Train (She was a bit tired but seemed to enjoy it)
What a fun day! If you haven't been to the Zoo lately to see the new baby elephant you should go! We sat and watched it forever it was hilarious!!! Addie also learned what an elephant says and when you ask her she holds her arm up like a trunk it's pretty cute! Of course I forgot to get pictures though :(
We had a party for Addie a few weeks before her actual birthday while we were down in St. George. We then ended up being there on her real birthday as well, so we had a small celebration that day too!! She was a bit spoiled having two parties, but we wouldn't have it any other way!!!!

*A Special Thanks to My Mom and Bryson's Mom for helping out with all the food and festivities!!!
