Scootin Around

Little Miss Addison started scootin around yesterday and already today she is all over the place! Everyone told me I was in for it when she started crawling cause she is such a busy little girl. But she is only scootin around on her belly by pushing her knees and pulling and already I can't keep up with her! She was all over the place today and kept rolling into the coffee table or making her way onto the tile(which she found out quick is not so soft)! She keeps us entertained that is for sure!! She had her 6 month appt. a few weeks ago and she weighed 17 lbs. 9 ounces, so she is getting up there! We just love her to death, she is so happy all the time and laughs at pretty much everything! Hopefully I will get to our Hogle Zoo excursion and other posts soon!!!

Happy Birthday Sis!!!!

My cute little sister just turned 21 today! I cannot believe she is already that old.......which makes me feel even older :( I am sad that I can't be there to celebrate, so I just wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday!!!! She is so cute with Addie, so I had to put this picture up, hopefully someday soon she will live a little closer so we can see her more often!!! Love you Jessie!!!

Last weekend my parents came up to visit and we were lucky enough to have my grandparents come down from Logan one day to visit with us! We had a fun time going to lunch and spending time together! We also went to Hogle Zoo and the Dinosaur Museum while my parents were here. I took tons of pictures so hopefully I can post them soon! Thanks for coming up Mom and Dad, we had so much fun and Addie misses you already!!!

For all you Moms out there.........

Ok I am at my wits end and need some advice! Addie has been a pill the last few weeks about taking her naps and I am a little fed up. I am lucky if I get one good nap out of her a day and it is usually first thing in the morning. She used to be such a great napper taking three naps a day, but now she just fights all of them. I feel like I have tried everything, even the dreaded let them "cry it out method", and let me tell you it does not seem to work for her! I have tried to have her cry it out for the last two weeks and she cries for and hour to and hour and a half every time I put her down(and there is only so much of that you can listen to)! These are not just little whines either, she all out screams this entire time and then falls asleep for maybe a 30-45 mins is all! I have read so many books and most of them go back to letting them cry, but what if your baby cries for two weeks straight and it doesn't get better??? They don't seem to ever mention that now do they! Anyways.......I would love to hear some advice or things that have worked for your kids??

Warning: Picture Overload!!!

I know this is a ton of pictures, but there were just so many cute ones that I decided to just make a bunch of collages and post them all! (mostly for grandparents) We can't believe that our little Addie Cakes is 6 months old already and has two front teeth now! She is having so much fun sitting up by herself, rolling over and playing. I couldn't tell you what her favorite food seems to be because this little girl will pretty much eat anything and plenty of it as you may be able to tell! She is a little chunker, but we sure love those rolls!!! She has become one of the craziest sleepers I have ever seen. One minute she is on her belly, the next she is on her side(holding onto her bumpers I might add) and then in the morning she is totally turned around on the complete other side of her crib, smashed up against the side!!! (oh well.....at least she sleeps all night)
Also, the other day we had a very interesting occurrence. As some of you may know Addie is obsessed with her swing!! She loves taking naps in it and the second you put her down she basically falls asleep. So we have been working on getting rid of the swing, but one day Mom was jut a little to exhausted cause Addie had been very cracky (due to her teeth coming in). So I decided to let her sleep in her swing. Well, I was in our room with the monitor on when all the sudden I heard this really weird banging noise. I had no idea what it was so I quietly went to check on little missy. Well, when I opened the door there she was lying underneath her swing with it swinging over her kicking the bars and laughing!!!!! I about had a heart attack and hurried and rescued her. I picked her up and she just looked at me like "What's the deal mom, I was having so much fun!" I still cannot figure out how she made it under the swing without hurting herself?? But...needless to say the swing is no more, that was the last draw!!!! I think Bryson and I may have our hands full when this little girl decides to start crawling!!! Hopefully it's not to soon!

Celebrity Sighting???

Nope! Just Miss Addison hiding from the Paparazzi behind her stylin sunglasses!! We went for a walk around the neighborhood and Addie wanted to catch some rays without anyone noticing her, so we stuck her sunglasses on and off we went!! She was so worn out after such an excursion that she fell asleep on the way home! It must be hard being a celebrity!?! :)
